Default Anyone know about USB Backup cameras?

I have a laptop in my car and think it would be cool to mout a webcam in the rear window so I can look back while parking/driving/etc.

I've been looking at the logitech line of cameras but I remember from older cams that webcam videos were really choppy and not really high quality.... Not to mention, they don't do night vision or anything like that...

So I'm wondering if anyone here is using a USB webcam (or any other usb camera) as a backup camera and if they have any complaints or anything.

Any info is always appreciated!

1) Web cams can give you 30 frames per second
But the res is bad most of the time so while you can see, it will not be pritty
2) Most Computer cameras have a coating that makes them not see IR. So, if you scrape it off the camera will sort of work.

I just love computers.
