Default Anyone wire factory fog light to work independently??

Sorry if this is the wrong forum...

Anyway, I got the Toyota fog lights kit and it uses the factory wire harness. The light only come on with the headlights. Anyone know how to wire them to be "ingnition on" only??

Thanks!

I thought there was a tech post about this just recently but I can't find it. If anyone knows, please post so us "not so ICE-savvy" can do it.

Thanks

This thread covers the xB wiring:

Working on getting it added to Tech section.

I checked out that thread and the xB wiring is totally different than the xA.

The xA switch has 4 wires going to it. There are 5 wires going to the relay, one of which is red. I'll bet the red one it the wire I need to move but I don't have a multimeter to check it.

You can simply ground the fog switch to the chassis.
This allows you to turn them on whenever you want.

I would reccomend using a multi meter to test the wires...

if you are in the the deptford area i will gladly test your wires for you and let you know what you need to do...
