ATTN! iPod Owners!
I'm thinking of buying an iPod. What's the best way to hook it up to my 05 tC's audio? And how much does it cost?
I'm afraid that the iTrip or other similar device might take away from the sound quality.
If possible, is there a way to keep the digital quality of the music b/c if not I'm not sure if the iPod is worth it if i can't use it in my car.

i got the itrip for the mini...its hot plus portable like you can bring it into anyones car and play your shizzle but soudn quality is average...sounds just as good as any fm station...but monster cables make the best direct connect...my boy has it...go with that...plus it has a nice red neon glow if your into that
I quadruple the FM transmitter = sucks thing. I got an iTrip. It sounded okay, kind of nasty in the upper range. Plus, it died suddenly and when it couldn't quite overrule some station it was a drag. Why spend a lot of money on a sound system to get butt-tastic quality?
I got an HU + HU-specific iPod adapter and am happy as a clam (even though it's a 2004 Alpine, so it's got the narfy interface).
