Aux input into scion stereo.
I just got myself a scion/pioneer 6 CD changer unit and I was disapointed that it does not have a tape deck - so now I cannot hook up my iPod and minidisc player. I noticed that it has several unused connectors on the back though and was wondering if anyone knows what these are for - probably the XM radio? If so is it possible to hook up an aux to these connectors? Does anyone have a diagram of what the different pins are used for?
Thx guys.

You should check out the TOY03-AUX adapter from P.I.E. Electronics. It's made so you can also check out article:

EWE! You use those tape adapters to connect your IPOD!!
You have any idea how those grind metal on metal and
wear down the heads!
Definitly get a Toyota AUX adapter, or spring the $$ for the
IPOD adapters.

I'm researching this same topic. I have a Tc with the standard Pioneer head unit and both an iPod and an XM MyFi portable. I bought the simple cupholder mount for the MyFi at Best Buy - which works great in terms of access. I get power from the lighter and the antenae sits in the front window. The guys at Best Buy Mobile Dept said normally they'd sell me an inexpensive FM Modulator but Toyota's XM connection is proprietary - so unless I'm willing to fork over $400 plus dollars at Toyota - my MyFi will just have to continue playing wirelessly. It sounds hollow - and not sharp. When I learn more about both solutions - I'll post it.
