Default Bazooka location different in manual

Got my Bazooka installed (bought the factory kit but installed myself) and for what it is i'm impressed . . . Did exactly what I wanted and rounded out the sound of the factory system. One thing I found interesting though is that in all the pictures the Bazooka is all the way over to the drivers side of the rear storage area, yet when I followed the instructions it was placed directly in the center of the rear. While initially I didn't like this, I think I actually like it more than the thought of having it over to the left . . . Plus it's probably better for even sound distribution. Curious though . . . anyone have one that was installed by a dealer? If so, where did they put it? Pics below:

Mine was also installed by the dealer all the way to the left. On the plus side, it allows more cargo space for larger items. On the minus side, the bolts were too long and the rear one was hitting the spare tire, so I had to cut it shorter.

I think yours looks cooler in the center, but I like being able to put a big box in the trunk if I need to.

I'm curious about something though... is there anything in your manual that explains the two different controls? My dealer had no knowledge whatsoever of how to operate the subwoofer. I just kinda fiddled with the two controls until I got a sound that I like.

On mine there's only a phaze switch (has to be up, down does nothing) and the gain ****. I can scan the original operating instructions if you need them. Just PM me your email address.

Also, i'm thinking of moving mine over to the left. It'll mean buying a new cargo mat, but i'd really like to have that extra storage space. How much clearence do you have betwen the bazooka and the rear seat and also between the other end and the hatch when it's over to the left?

Sorta split the difference. . . .I like that. Did you install it yourself or is that dealer installed?
