Default bazooka wiring for after market subs

ive searched every where about hooking up my subs.ive seen 20 people say to hook up a loc and i understand how that would work.but i havent seen anybody ask this question.isnt there a factory plug in the back of my pioneer for a bazooka and wouldnt this location have everything to run my amp and sub.isnt the bazooka an amp with a sub?i had one along time ago (in94) and it had rca plugs in it.im sorry if its been asked and i missed it i cant be the first to ask......thanks

Yes, the bazooka is an amp and sub. Do you have the bazooka in your car now? But there is no factory plug in the back of the pioneer for the bazooka, not unless you purchsed the plug or you have a bazooka in there now. So you will most likely need an LOC or they make a harness that has RCA outs coming off it. You will still need to purchase power wire and RCA's. most OEM bazookas are integrated with a plug on the back of the deck or a harness that interconnects with the existing harness.... most of the aftermarket bazooka stuff has RCA's and a plug that you run power, ground, and remote to..

no i dont have the bazooka.i bought a 12" R.F. package from bestbuy yesterday and i wanted to put it in right away.so i took out the radio and i see two empty plugs on the back of the pioneer.i just didnt want to cut in to the factory wiring.that pic you posted looks about right but i cant wait for it to come in the mail so i guess ill go today and buy the loc....thanks

Ha Ha i know what you mean i've gone over the years from multi amps and subs systems, to a 5-channel amp and one 10 inch sub. But just turn the gains on the amp down or most LOC's have gains on them too, to ease on the bass. Glad you got everything figured out.
