ok, finally called bBist. BTW really nice guy!

The gauge is poop. Oh well, win some lose some. I did however learn a ton about EL wire, overlays, inverters, and other fun stuff. It's not a total loss for me. Infact I have plans to make my own EL gauge once I figure out how to make it. It's on the list witht he other four hundred things I still have to do to the B. LOL

I really do have the "made in China" B now. I got knock off volk te37's, the fake esam visors, and now I got a fake bBist gauge. :D in a way it makes me feel special in a Special education kinda way. I'm laughing for once and not so PO'd lol.

BTW I found out if you get a bBist gauge face overlay for the B make sure the box has a serial number on it. bBist told me that they started doing that recently so they could make sure you got the real goods.

That gauge is deffinitely a fake. We took legal action against a company last year that copied our gauge, I guess there's another one this year.

All of the gauges that leave our facility have serial numbers on the box so we can warranty valid claims. If you purchased a gauge earlier this year we can track your serial number with the original box.

Buyer beware!!! Make sure that the products your purchase are the original. We had over 50 requests for warranty last year that were from fake gauges and not a single one was actual bBist!
