Hello, I bought the Pioneer AVIC D1 Navigation Unit and I have all the wires installed except the speed sensor wire and the e-brake wire and the reverse light wire.
Where the heck are these things, I don't really want to pay $150 to have Best Buy install it, so some one please help me with a diagram or just tell me where they are.

reverse light wire doesn't need to be hooked up unless you have a rear view camera, e brake wire...use the search button if you wanna override it or follow the instruction on the instruction manual (if you don't have it go to pioneerelectronics.com they have installation manual)

 

i would use the search button on the stereo? hook up the stereo then press search?

Here you go, read this thread it has everything you will need except the reverse wire color= red with black stripe at top of fuse box in a 9 pin harness.

thanks a lot. I will try it tommorow and see if the thing works. the ebrake wire i have been reading up on and that is just a safety issue, the way i heard of going around that is to ground out the green wire or the ebrake wire is that how you do that?
