How old is the car? If it's under warranty, the dealer should replace that no questions.

tell the stealership to go pound sand, $300 !! their insane, just go to your local auto parts store and have them match them to something they have in stock or see if they have replacements for the xb

What year box you have? And do youhave anything attached to the hatch that causes extra weight?
Mine is two years old and 60K and will stay up while driving on the freeway going 70.
Sounds like a defect to me.

No added weight... The only thing I can think of is that we have some crazy weather this year in San Antonio..

TONS of rain...I have noticed a few bubbles on the shocks themselves!

Can anyone find these for me? I would really appreciate it.
I can only find the from the factory!

is it still under warranty, becaue they should fix it, but just incase ive been looking around and there are none available anywhere except the dealer for $168 per side, just take one off and take it to you local auto parts store and they should be able to match you one up

Drop me an e-mail at GLN305@hotmail.com and I can give you my phone number. I am pretty good at matching parts for alot of cars at auto parts places. I am quite notorious for finding shocks to fit on bagged or lowered vehicles that are stock for other cars. I fly out of San Antonio on July 28th so e-mail me before then.
