Default carPC ( pics)

it's a salvaged Book PC..did a lil bit of work on it..a lil bit ghetto but it works...it will be mainly used for MP3s and navigation..not too pleased with connecting it through COMPOSITE 'coz of the picture quality so I might end up getting a monitor w/ VGA input or get a bigger screen...maybe at least a 10"... a few pics below:

BTW a question for the PC gurus...why is it that the video doesn't fill up my whole screen....kinda weird prolly need to make a few adjustments but 'm a newbie to this just like in everything else I've made

running WindowsME:

Media Player:

will be posting more pics as soon as I get done re-wiring the LED indicators to a more visible location since the PC will be under the passenger seat...and moving the power buttons to more accessible location...hopefully it won't be too hard... :D

PEACE

Very cool man, how did you get that setup like that? Can you post some pics of the whole dash so we can see your entire install?

Try changing your resolution. That may fix the problem with the screen. Right click on your desktop and select properties. Then, go to the settings tab and try changing the screen resolution. Play around with it to see if it does anything to your screen, make it bigger or smaller.

ditto on the resolution. also, it depends on what video card you have, but if u have a nvidia card, it has options on the menu that will let you move the screen around
