Default pics of the remote?

I know someone asked for this before but I haven't seen a response. Is there a closeup shot of the remote that comes with this $62 system? I'd like to see what it looks like.

Thanks!

hey bill...any chance on making a security system that is wire specific for the tC?
i have an 05 tC. i'm looking for an aftermarket security system. i don't want a remote. i would like to use the factory keyless entry as my remote. i don't need a pager and i don't want remote start.
i've found a company that will offer it to me for $129 shipped. i'm thinking of going with that. i emailed them and they said they could wire one up for me.
heres my thread i started https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...764&highlight=
just wondering if you gave any thought to the tC

finding the wires on the tc, can be a pain, the remote start, I won't do. it requires external relays, I will do one fir the tc when I can find an easier way to locate the wires.

I just received the $62 unit from Bill today. Now, if my xA would just come in! Anyway, Bill was very helpful and I received the unit very quickly! Also, here's a pic of the keyfob for those interested:

Also, has anyone had problems installing this in a 2006 xA?

Dimensions are 1.5" wide, 2.125" long (not including key rings), and .5" thick. The two buttons are 1) lock/unlock, and 2) truck release.

    Here's another pic:

I'm interested in the AS16, but just curious if anyone with an 06 xA did this install yet? If they did, were any of the wires different from whats on instuctions? Also what would the shipping to 96813 be? Thanks

I'm confused on the website it shows the AS16 for $79.00. Is the shipping to Hawaii 62.00? Also are there notes of the different lock wires in the instructions? Thanks

    Default Finally getting this!

This sounds great. I'm going to do it - sounds like a fun thanksgiving project for me (and I'm a girl!). I was looking at the website and it looks like the key fob has 4 buttons. What are they all for? Also, can you program it to not honk the horn when you lock the doors?

Thanks Bill. I'll be ordering today or tomorrow!

I installed Bill's AS16 in my 2006 xA - all works great. It looks like Toyota changed some wiring just slightly- the two wires that are referenced in install section "connecting wire set B" section (Green wire with White Stripe and Brown
wire with White Strip) are no longer right next to each other but are displaced by one row and offset by two columns on the connector (colors etc are correct). Someone else asked if you could program the horn/alarm to not sound when locking/unlocking and the answer is yes.

    Default Put in my order!

I just put in my order for the Keyless Entry System. Can't wait to get it going!

Thanks Bill for this product at such a reasonable price. Keyless entry is the one thing I've really been missing in my XA.

    Bill,

Yesterday I sent another e-mail to the address on your website -- bturner@scionspecialties.net -- but still have not heard any response. Is there a problem? I'd really like to do business with you, but my experience so far hasn't been quite as positive as others'. Please contact me as soon as possible so we can work this out.
