Cheap little mod.
Go and buy some of those small stick on cup holder hooks you see in the houseware dept of K mart, etc..
Stick one on the inside of your gas door and you now have a place to hang your cap when fueling.
It's the little things that count!!

Or maybe a cheap cell phone holder or those 3M wall hooks (hang the gas cap "line" from it) or heavy-duty loop/hook fasteners (like velcro, but ALL plastic, none of that cloth stuff).
I think I'm going to the junkyard and "acquiring" a real gas cap holder (and a coin holder!!!!!!).

I couldn't even think of having someone else fill my baby. If someone is going to spill gas on her, it better be me!!
Yeah, when I'm in Oregon, it's such a wierd feeling to have someone do it for you.

Since someone else brought it up...
I remember as a kid (yeah, me and Lincoln) when you drove into a "service station" there were lines on the bays that rang bells inside - alerting the attendants that someone was there and needed service.
I don't know when/where the last time was that I had that happen, but I kinda miss it. They'd pop the hood and check the oil, etc.
Ahh, the good ol' days.

I did something like that but put a zip tie around the inner brace of the fuel door then cut it off long enough to have a spot to drape the cap tether over. But I like this idea better and am going to change my original mod.
