If you don't plan to put any under the seats then you could just use the pop out hole at the bottom of the dash (there are 3) to insert the switch. But a cool thing to do is put the switch under the handbrake/center console on the left side (this is where toyota mounts their neon light switch) because it is close enough that you don't need any extra wire to put the cathodes under the dash and then you can always splice in and put cathodes under your seat so nothing other than the kit is needed.

You're going to need:

2 Spools of stranded wire (black and red, duh)
1 pair of wire cutters/strippers
1 package of butt connectors and the tool that closes them
Tape/velcro/whatever to mount the inverter(s) (the kit probably comes with this)
Drill and 3/4" bit to mount the switch (you'll also need a small file)

You should be able to get this stuff at radio shack or home depot pretty cheap

Extra zip-ties are good to have, as is split loom and heat shrink tubing. You don't need this stuff if you're just going to do under dash though.
