Default Cold Cathodes and the POPO

I got pulled tonight cause I have so many lights inside. The officer said that the entire cabin was lit up :D Has anyone else been pulled for this? :?:

BlueBOX757, Sounds like he didn't write you up. Word of caution, if you're ever over on the Middle Peninsula watch your lights and your speed between Gloucester Court House and Saluda - the state boys and county folks love that stretch of road. Saw a brand new unmarked black Mustang today.

In CA, any additional lighting other than factory installed, is technically a violation. Usually a fix-it-ticket. But then again, it's the Officer's discretion. Now if you have a strobe light going on, and the interior is lit up like a bar w/ neons and such, it is distracting to other drivers and could cause an accident.

Just giving my insight.

Hehehe this is why I don't have a switch in both my xB and CRX...I just have a relay hooked up to my doorpin and my alarm...So the only time my cold cathodes and my underbody neons are on is when I open my door (which trips out people) and when I unlock/disarm my cars.
