Default Comments on system to be installed on Monday?

My new sounds and vid system will be installed on Monday. Although I have purchased the equipment, I'm sure I can still exchange for equally priced items before they put it in. So here it is fully installed for $2,400:

Pioneer P5000 DVD installed flush in the lower compartment below the climate controls; a Sharp 7" monitor custom installed in the 2-din to be flush (they are also making a removable, plastic front plate for protection and security); 6.5" Kove Audio EX280 Components Crossover in the front; 6.5" Kove KXS Series II Components in the rear; 1 JL Audio 10" 10W0-4 sub that they will custom build a flush box in the storage space next to the spare tire compartment. The system will be powered by a 5 channel Hifonics Zeus Z8000 amp. They are also putting in a Eiger Vision TV tuner and are custom building an input jack in my dash so that I can hook up my MP3 player.

I'm not an audio expert by any stretch of the imagination, but this fit my budget exactly and sounded good to me. Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Dude. Still waiting. I got a call from the place yesterday afternoon and they didn't have the P5000 in stock like they thought. Anyway, I'll get it tonight and take some pics. They had actually offered to upgrade to the P7000 for free so I could get it yesterday as promised. I said no because the P7000 doesn't play mp3 encoded cd's. Can you believe that? I high end Pioneer DVD unit that retails for around $700 (I know you can get it for less) that doesn't play mp3 encoded cd's. Anyway, the reason the thing costs more is that it has a tiny LCD on it that makes light shows to the music. I'd rather hear my cd's I've burned with mp3 even if the upgrade was for free.

Good luck, I hope everything goes well. Once you have a chance post some pics. I'm trying to get ideas for my setup.

sounds like a sweet setup. im still tryin to configure mine as well. mp3s are the best to have in HUs because you can store so many songs in them. thats what's so dope about the stock HU n 6cd HU.

So what did the 2400 dollars consist of?? The installation alone, or including the equipment?
