components for fronts in xB - 2 way or 3 way?
When doing components in the front, am I better off just doing a 6 1/2 2-way component set like the CDT CL-61 or EF-61 with the woofers in the door and the tweeters in the dash, or should I be looking at a 3-way component setup with the 6 1/2 in the door, the 4 in the dash, and the tweeter on the a-pillar? Maybe something like the MB Quart PCE-210 and PCE-164?
I'll be pushing whatever with a directed 500 75x4 amp.
Thanks for the help fellas. I apologize if this was covered in a previous post. I've spent the past week searching, and all the old posts are starting to blur together.

If you're going insane Sound Quality setup, get the 3-way, but you'll need a plethora of crossovers and equalizers/processors to make them sound their best....
If you're wanting really good sound quality, get 2-way...this is what most ppl go with....best choice for someones every-day driver...

i have the Ifinity Kappa series components on front doors, rear and two way in dash 4".
sounds good, but i need an aftermarket HU to make it sound better.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas. 3-ways are big step up price wise as well, and I think that money would be better spent towards subs and amps.
Do you suggest matching 2-way or 2-way coaxials or midrange drivers for the rear for fill?

I've heard alot of people who like having matching sets all the way around.....but I think you should run the front 2-way components on a 2 channel amp and run a matched COAXIAL set in the rear off the HU....
just don't get like JL VR components for the front then XR coax for the rear.....match the VR components and VR coax (or whatever brand you're looking at)

I don't think so......but some people do.....personally I like keeping all my sound up front and not have a rear fill.....
What I'm saying about matching is more to do with quality.....Example: don't get $200 components and then get the $400 coaxials from the same company......get the coaxials that are close to equal to the components....
edit: for you literal ****** out there I'm only comparing by dollar figure for an example....don't buy your speakers based on price...
