So, I was just thinking, I only have 3 sets of controls in the center console.

1 is the radio, which, when I go carputer I expect to be controlling from there anyway.

2 is the single hazzard lights button, which I am ok setting up in any of 2343453425 other places

the third however, is a slew of climate control ****, dials and buttons. Has anyone had any experience converting these over to another system? something simpler to control from their computer?

hrm.... and now I realize this being the first car I've ever owned that's not older than me, that I've had this thing for months and don't have a chiltons yet.

But before I reinvent a square wheel, has anyone already done this? I'msorry if my searchfu failed, I did look.

well, I bet the search failed to turn up anything, becasue i haven't heard of it being done yet...

it sounds like a good idea, though. what microcontroller are you looking at?
