Default Crutchfield has the Eclipse 5495 Now!!

I have been lookin to get an indash gps for the longest time. As I was lookin at crutchfield they have the new eclipse 5495... It looks like one awesome unit. A little pricey though..

They release a few back in the march/april time frame. A lot of them were recalled to fix some problems. Also they were supposed to add the sirius satellite radio support in august. Don't know if they actually did or not....

a friend picked that one up. the only problem he had was the ripping of his cd's. to get one song you gotta rip the whole cd, well he don't drive that much if anything maybe for 4-5 songs max. so he's not ripped anything yet. but the navi features are pretty cool. as for me i wasn't too happy on the screen resolution though.

Did you mean the nav is all on one disc or not having to swap between nav and dvd movies? I thought you always had to swap between nav and dvd movies unless you had a newer unit with the hard drive.

^^^ d1 doesn't play movies, it does have two slots for cds and dvd rom....no dvd playback unless you have a dvd player hooked up to it
