Default cup holder illumination installation Question

I am thinking about buying the cup holder illumination for my SCION XB Automatic. I would like to know how easy it is to do yourself and how long it took you. I also have the scion subwoofer and led blue light kit so I am worried the wiring might be more complex. Is it as easy as cutting the hole in the cup holder and pluging it in? Thanks.

yes it really is that easy. drill a hole on the bottom (but to the side) and shove ur LED through, dab it with a little superglue on the back side, and you're good. just remember ur gonna have drinks in there so play around with some spots so that you can still put stuff in the holders and not have them lopsided because theyre on an LED. then run the wires to the cig. lighter and splice, or even into your LED Underdash lights will work splicing into. if you splice into the existing kit, after the switch or whatever, you wont have to worry about doing another switch, which is a plus IMO. if i can do it though, seriously any one can. good luck and happy motoring :D

I saw an easy kit at AutoZone or maybe it was Pepboys that just goes in the bottom of any cup holder and has the LED's mounted...not as clean as a custom install but probaly easier..
