I am 6'4" and would like to have a more comfortable reach to the steering wheel. HAve you heard of any companys that make or install custom extendable steering wheels. They come stock in many vehicles these days

 

None for Scions yet. I too would love it though being 6'4" also. I'm thinking of going with a sparco hub with an aftermarket wheel to bring it into a sweet spot.

 

I want this as well for the tC. If you xA/xB boys find someone doing, drop us tC'ers a line so we can hound them to make us one ;)

 

Funny thing is a telescopic wheel would have been nicer than the lame a$$ed tilt feature. I leave mine in the up position all the time anyhow. What a waste.
To bad they can't make a wheel spacer that goes between the column and wheel mount. 2 inches would be about perfect.

 

Amen. I'd pay good money for 3 more inches...OF STEERING COLUM!

I wouldn't even be concerned about what it looks like. I'm not into showing off my ride, but I put LOTS of miles on my car so it would be huge for me to be able to bring the wheel closer to me.

It's been a while since you guys talked about this. Any updates from your side?

 

Just add a quick release to the steering wheel, thats about 2.5 inches.
