Ported right by where the person would be seated?

depending on enclosure volume, availability of space for ports.... me thinks that if the driver could be fired forward in that space and ported in the same direction, it would work well....trial and error would be the way to prove best results..

again people who doubt the 6.5 please direct yourself to the video i posted earlier. And I'm just doing this becuase i just want that little bass that is missing. I've gone through systems before 2 12's, 1 12, 1 15 but i dont wnat to do that right now since the area my apartment is in isnt that great. My roommmate got his system stolen parked in the garage which you need a key to get into. so it isnt that safe. if the box gets to be too much, i might just do a single 6.5 or 8 ported in the back.

P.S. i would be using a Memphis 16-MCD250, 125 @ 4ohms

^^^ I think I'm actually ordering 2 of these Eu-700's next week.... putting them into a box in the rear upward firing tuned to 30Hz....

and believe it or not, I'm going to run it with my Rockford 501s.... 632x1 @4ohm.... Guess I'll just have to be really careful....

wouldn't it be easier to just put some subs under the front seats? Maybe a complete replacement console would work better than trying to add on to the stocker. You could also build in an armrest and more storage space.
