Default Cutting stock auto shifter

I am thinking about cutting the stock auto shifter down, it sit too high and hits my leg.

My question is, has any body down this yet? I know some have swapped the *****, but I and thinking of keeping that stock, just lowering it to the floor.

Depends on the internal mechanism of it. We'll see in a few weeks.
