Default Day Time Running Lights for the xB

Will the Day Time Running Lights for the Echo work on my xB? If not, does anyone know of a kit for Day Time Running Lights?

don't know why don't you post it in a couple more threads, like audio and video, and tread and butter section. dude you only need to post this topic once, that is all just 1 time is good enough to get your answer, yes the echo day time running lights will work, depends on if you want to pay the money.

If your xB comes with fog lights, i can tell you how to possibly use them as Day Time Running Lights.

In the fuse block, find the fuse for the fogs, and then find a fuse that is on when the ignition is on. Run a jumper from one fuse to the other, and via-la running lights.

I did this years ago on my NEON, using the sunroof as the ignition jumper.

hey bill, if you have the instructions why don't you just send them to the admin to add them to the tech section, it would be a good addition of information for curious scion owners who want that.

I just started my weekend, after I finish my honey doo's I will send it to darren. I will also assemble a kit that is prewired and labeled and hardware for installation, around 15.00 . That will include the two relays for parking and running lights. Bill

hey Bill

what is the difference between running headlights and parking lights as daytime running lights and just turning the lights on as i do whenever i drive?

i got that from driving a charter bus for years and we always ran with our lights on for safety....
