Default What about DRL from Canada?

I wonder if you could purchase/use some kind of DRL module from Canada?

I did that for a Mazda Miata, our friends in Canada must have DRL's, so rather than goofing around with some wiring hack, took a trip to Vancouver and had them install the DRL module. It was essentially a plug & play.

I know they don't sell xA' or XB's up there, but how about a Echo DRL mod???

Anyone from the Great North know anything ?????

Thanks in advance !

Default Canadian DRL's

Got the following email, to answer my own question:

I DID FIND A RUNNING LIGHT MODULE FOR
THE ECHO. IT IS 82642-52020 AND IT SELLS
FOR 249.00 PLUS TAX FOR A TOTAL OF
$286.35 CANADIAN. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE
WIRING IS ALL THERE, BECAUSE I DO NOT
HAVE ANY WIRING DIAGRAMS FOR THE
SCION. IN THE ECHO IT MOUNTS IN BEHIND
THE HEATER CONTROLS. HOPE THIS HELPS
THANKS
STEVE CHRISTIE

(BTW - Eastway Toyota is located in Windsor, Ontario)

Comment - Ouch, $250 is kinda steep. It would be interesting to attempt a part number cross-reference, as well as checking the wiring diagrams.

Thanks to Steve @ Eastway for his assistance.
