hey does anybody know how many square feet it will take to deaden the inside of an ex? i was thinkin of getting 100^ft of fatmat.

 

Are you gonna do just the floor or you gonna do the floor, pillars and roof with this? 100 might make it for the floor, but not enough for the rest if you were planning on doing it. Always better to have more than less when it comes to deadening material.

 

Only deaden the panels that can actually vibrate. Do the roof, doors, and hatch; the floor won't do anything but add weight to your car. Get some carpet padding and put that down instead. The best way to deaden noise is to fill hollow spots with something like poly-fill.

 

I bought a roll of RAAMAT and their sheeting and have done the doors, hatch and rear panels made a huge difference. I would recommend RAAMAT http://www.raamaudio.com/. Great guy and great product much better than the cheaper products and better price then the higher end.

 

well i was just goin to do the hatch the sides in the back the back doors front doors the roof and the floor with the cargo part to keep it quiet when i get my exhaust.

lemme call him now and see. but i was lookin at dominick iraggi's alt. i can get a 200 amp alt from him fo like 340 idles at 120 amps.

 

just got off the phone with your alt guy he seems pretty cool . i asked if he could ship it to me he said that i would have to come down and get the measurements so he could install it so he might be callin you and prolly askin your parents if he can take a look inside your xb dude. but umm im tryin to decide u konw to go with iraggi or davilico i think thats his name. correct me if im wrong. but im outta here time to go to work.
