Death to HATCH RATTLE (beyond deadening material)
so i was outside my car today listening for rattles of any sort. I thought my dynamat in the hatch had done the trick...wrong. The biggest problem is the wiper which i think ill end up tearing off soon. But another major issue was the snap on cover on the third brake light. i noticed this little guy makin noise only at certain frequencies of bass, but still. after some thought i found something very similar to this in my garage:

its a strip of foam with an adhesive back. I wrapped the flush edge of the cap with this rolling it over the side to look smooth. i originally planned on using a gasket of some sort, but this was way more easily formable and it was just thin eneough to do the job. all cap rattle is gone and i couldnt be happier. this stuff is cheap so try it out. If ur lucky u may even have some laying round the house.

yeah, I have a pair of Phoenix Gold Xenons in the back of mine. I have to point them straight up to avoid the rattles of death. Only problem is that now my roof flexes like a siv. Im currently in the middle of a major E-Dead install. Hopefully that will do the trick. (Wiper already removed here)
we are blessed and cursed...our cabin design lets the bass fill nicely without goin thru a trunk, but we end up firing point blank at the hatch. cant complain too much tho cause my system sounds very solid right now.
