how is the send quality going to get affected? Is there anyway to get the little dent to pop out?

The “Dust Dome” covers up the voice coil and pole piece area, the inner workings of the motor structure. After the voice coil and the leads from the terminals are soldered the dome is the last piece to be glued to the speaker cone. It is partly cosmetic to cover up the inner motor. Secondly the dome now becomes one with the cones surface in compressing air (sound) when played. If the dents are small and there are no holes going all the way through the cone, you will not notice any change in sound.

If the dome is not “creased” and has soft dents then you can use a small strip of tape. Gently lay the tape on the dome and give it a quick pull, this should have enough pressure to cause “soft domes” to pop back out. If the dome is “creased” or “hard plastics/metals” it will not work. It is best to just leave it as is and only you will know it is there.
