sounds silly, but did anyone put something inside of the door, then make the stereo sounds better, and when closing the doors don't sounds that weak/thin? and I think the box will keep good temputure in the sun or snow with that...

another good alternative for dynamat and deadmat is house insulating material..it's real good and much much cheaper...think it was $11/roll ( NOT SURE ) which is enough to do 2 doors I believe....saw it used in one of my frined's ride and result was awsome...

When buying sound deadening keep in mind that weight is important! The best sound deadener available is lead - concrete works pretty well too. Not practical for cars though. Good automotive sound deadening material is often asphalt backed - I believe Dynomat is as well. Don't buy anything that is really light and expect it to do much of anything unless your willing to kid yourself. Dynomat is very expensive and I know there are cheaper sources -- buy based on ounces.
