I understand that the Pioneer amp only have 1 channel, but according to the seller of my Camry navigation unit I need a four channel amplifier.

"Some of our customer's choose to install their own after market speaker amplifier. First thing, make sure the amplifier is a four channel amplifier. A four channel as opposed to a two channel amplifier will give you much better sound quality and will fully utilize all four pre-outs on the 2005 Camry Navigation System."

Is that true and I will need to purchase another amp? Or will the Pioneer amp does the job?

You're only powering a sub, right?

If so, you're fine.

If you're amping speakers too, then yes, you would need another amp

Well when I installed the navi unit I also purchased an OEM toyota amp from the seller. The stock wires that used to goto the stock HU connected to the amp first and from the amp to the navi unit.

So I guess I would need to purchase a 4 channel amp then?

What amp would be recommended? I want to keep it under $200.
