Default do it yourself cruise control, Rostra Rocks

I encourage any do it yourselfers to install their own cruise control. I bought a Rostra GlobalCruise through eBay (paid $250 which is a lot but wanted the xB instructions and a unit set up for the xB). It works great. The wiring diagram for the Neutral Safety Switch (NSS) and Vehical Speed Sensor (VSS) did not make sense. But, I did manage to find the black wire for the NSS and voilet and white wire for the VSS. I used a "littelfuse" to tap into the gauge fuse as a power source.

Is that the one that sticks out the left side behind the steering wheel?

Yes. You can place it anywhere under the turn signal. The switch is on a stick. All you have to do is remove the bottom of the steering column cover (3 screws) and drill a 3/8 inch hole.
