Does the factory headunit have preouts??

I need to know. I'd rather go shopping knowing what I need, and I'm going shopping tomorrow morning for a system :-)

no, it doesnt, you need an rca converter, or buy a new headunit.

what about rca inputs in the back so I can mod it to hook my ipod up?? I was thinking it might cuz the xm sat option, unless its a direct input for the sat ant. nebody know??

yeah someone posted before that there is a toyota part that has two pre-out (rca jacks) that hooks up to the wiring harness.. it's what allows the factory sub to connect to the headunit.. forgot the part number, your scion dealer should know about it..
