Default door poppers

http://www.slickcar.com/productdetai...ProductID=3351

Is this what I am looking for? I have been googling but I am not sure if this is a good quality product etc. I would like to know since I have my insides of the door panel open.

The new SPAL Seven-Channel Shaved Door Kit comes with two four-button transmitters, receiver and wiring harness and two 35-pound solenoids.
The kit is was designed to work with power windows, door releases, trunk releases and linear actuators. All outputs are constant as long as buttons are held down.
The kit comes with a seven-channel receiver with two four-button remote transmitters. To ensure ease of install, channels one and two have internal relays. Control the other five functions by adding an external relay (part code: 8617).

SPAL DP-3 Spring loaded door poppers give the door a slight push after the solenoid releases the latch.

What is this extra part 8617 and what is it good for?

The kits I have used and most of my friends have used are from Autoloc. Here's a link to their website:

I use these for their reliability and how much they are used in the industry. There might be a better brand out there, but this is what i would use and have used.

It all depends on how hard you want your door to be pushed out/ how far it gets pushed out. Since scion doors arent that heavy, you can prob get away w/ a 15, but I would do a 35 so it doesnt get burned out as quickly. The functions are up to you. Most people's kits that I have seen are the:
SVPRO3

As for where to buy the kit from, you can get them prettymuch anywhere you want. Ebay will most likely have the best deals. Here's one i found quickly. I know www.streetbeatcustoms.com has them and they are a reputable company that i have used on many occasions, but I cant find them on their website, so just give them a call and get a quote.

it refers to the number of functions available through the remote.

ok awesome. Do you think 16 is what I need or 7 is more than enough?

Is it for 2 doors or 4 doors. I can't tell?

The kit is for 2 doors, you'll have to buy 2 more actuators and 2 more poppers and just tie the kits together.

I would be fine w/ just the 7 function kit. You might want the 16 just in case you ever want to add anything else to the remote. I think you can program a ton of things into them like lights on and off and ____. My friend has his air suspension deflate from the remote when armed.

o ok. so I don't need to separate kits just the add ons. Sounds cool. Thanks for your inputs. I will defiantly take every thing in to consideration.
