I am havin some issues with installin my double din.i have always had a flip out but loved the way a double din looked a lil more custom.I bought a jvc double din tv.and bought a install kit that comes with the two plastic pieces to fill the sides.but how do you mount it in?the stock brackets wont work .thanks

 

Not sure how the jvc is but on mt kenwood i think the plastic pieces screwed to the side if the radio. My stock brackets worked, but i hab to dremmel 2 holes out cause they were 1/8 inch off.

 

mine worked just as above with my JVC exad unit

bingo, it needs a filler kit

 

i agree, works slick. if the face still motorizes for disc access and whatnot, double check your clearances before you move it, you can break stuff.
