Are the back lit leds amber? I just got mine taken out a couple days ago and already forgot. Some one is asking about this on ebay, trying to sell.

Also, does the base deck show text with the Ipod? You can use tha AUX port to interface with the Ipod, correct?

 

I dont beleive it does, i think it only shows mins and secs played.

I don't have an Ipod so I never tryed it

 

I jusy got my xB today, and it has the ipod radio. It says it is sattelite ready. What do I need to do/get to set this up. Do I need to buy the whole Sirius unit, or something less?

 

The Aux port plays the iPod through the base unit, but there is no interface other than (a) the unit displays the letters AUX and (b) the volume controls on the unit and the steering wheel work (in addition to the control on the iPod).

 

and the back lighting of the lcd screen is multi colored not the buttons.
