I wanted to put DVD navigation in the trap door. Thought it would look nice on the dash. Anyone have pictures or equipment recommendations?Anyone plan on getting DVD navigation?

i have a high end eclipse LCD touch DVD/NAV (AVN2454) system that isn't a fold out, it just fits perfectly where the radio used to be, i'll try to get pics.
it's soooooooooo ill.

how big is the screen?? Do you think a fold out would hit the trap door?

 

Use the search button genius, and you will see more than a few tC's with navigation. One of which with the Avic-n1, but I believe he took the radio door off.

it's a 6'5, i wanted a 7 but the 6'5 fits tooooo perfect, exactly the same size as the original radio. i got the flat touch screen just because i thought it was better but looking at the door when it's up...... a fold out probably would hit the door unless u had the radio sticking out a bit so there would be enough room for trhe screen but that would look like ____. if u want a REALLY high quality (honestly has better quality on a 6'5 than those high deff home tv's) DVD/NAV go with the "eclipse AVN2454" i think it retails for about 2300 but you can get it, installed, for much cheaper.

kick ___! That's what I've been looking for. I like the way it looks. Out of curiosity, why didn't you go for a lower profile design? I've seen some that utilized the spare tire area for the back of the woofer and one of the cubbie holes for the amp. Please post more pictures of your system! I'll post your pictures for the benefit of others.

thanx for the comments, the reason i didn't go for the lower profile box was basicly sound quality, as u can tell, there is a huge sealed box and it has an AMAZING sound, even at high volumes. i also don't realy need the trunk space, and if i ever do, i have access to an suv. flat tire :? ........ AAA. also, there is a capcitor underneath, along with a equilizer in the glove box and dynamatted under the pannels. i'll try to get pics of the tv if someone will let me e-mail it 2 them to post em cuz i don't know how to do all that ____.

 

The easy way to post pictures is to press the IMG button when your writing a message...then right click a picture and press properties. copy and paste the address right behind the IMG letters...I know it works for internet pictures...not sure about about ____ from your computer though.

 

yeah, thats the problem, it has to be from the internet, so someone would have to post them on some site to get the pics on here.
