Default Eclipse Amp or Kicker Amp for Eclipse 12inch Titanium?

Tomorrow I am ordering an eclipse titanium 12 inch sub (9122) and either the eclipse sub amp(da7122) or a kicker sub amp around the same specs to push the sub. I cant decide which one to get. The kicker amp will cost me probably 150-200 dollars less than the eclipse amp.. I get both brands very cheap through my circuit city accomodations. I just dont know if its worth the extra 200 bucks for the eclipse amp..

I have Eclipse subs and sub amp and so far I am very happy with them. You can check out my profile to see the specs.

make sure either amp can accomodate the ohm load that the sub will "produce"... aside from that, I'd go with the Kicker personally.... not too sure about their new stuff, but their older amps kicked major ___!

Sound (no pun intended) advice. The other thing I would take in to consideration is that Kicker seems to be making some pretty large amps in terms of physical size, so depending on where you're planning on mounting the amp I might let that factor heavily in to my decision. Mark

dont get that eclipse amp. that amp has been discontinued for a long time now. the model is over 3 years old. they are still trying to get rid of them. they are not as powerful as claimed. besides that, many have had problems with the amp shutting off for no reason then turning back on. i dont know about the other amp, but speaking from experience; stay away from the eclipse DA7122 or DA6213
