I'm planning on purchasing the Eclipse nav unit, but I'm wondering if it will be compatable with the factory sub that I installed. Will I need to purchase an amp and jerry-rig the thing or is there an adaptor plug that I can use. I heard that the Eclipse unit is plug and play, but will it recognize the subwoofer just the same?

the sub is split off of your rear speakers, and your rear speakers plug directly into the HU. there should be no problem with the set up.
