Default Electrical Experts! HELP!

Problem: Passenger's Side Headlight (Hi-Beam/Lo-Beam/Signal) does NOT work.

Equipment: TECHONE HID Kit (5k)

Symptoms:

Passenger's Side: Lo-Beam pulses. Fog light (dim) comes on at the same time. Then goes out. Driving light is the only light that stays on when I drive at night.

Driver's Side: Normal

First thought from the seller was malfunctioning ballast.

Ordered new ballast. Installed this evening. Exactly the SAME SYMPTOMS.

Bulbs were checked. Switched bulbs from Passenger to Driver. Normal.

I've been pulled over way too many times last month. Help!

Thank you.

try switching the connections on your harness.

i bought the flowlighting kit from oznium and had an issue with where the wires needed to be on the stock harness. i finally got the actual HID bulb working, but not the brights.

i can live without them anyways ;)

the black housing with the chrome. LED projectors.

Are there fuses for each headlight?

I thought there was only one fuse controlling both the passenger and driver's side?

I don't have a model# or name.. its one of the first projectors released for the xb.

aireck may be pointing you in the right direction. When I installed my hid kit, the drivers side hi/lo was not working. It turned out that I blew the fuse for the driver side.

So, yes, there is a seperate 10amp fuse for driver/passenger side. The fuse box is in the engine compartment, right next to the battery.

Even if the fuse is not blown, try throwing another 10amp fuse in there. I hope thats the fix. Good luck.

do you know which one it is?

Would the driving light and the headlight (hi/lo) have different fuses for them?

because the driving light is the only one that works on the passenger side...

the turn signal. hi.lo does not work and sometimes flickers/pulses but doesnt turn on.

The fuse box has the legend on the inside top of the lid. The legend will tell you which fuse matches the component. If I remember correctly, the headlight fuses are the red 10amp fuses closet to the bumper.
