Default fabricated mounting brackets

does anyone know where i could buy a mounting bracket for the forn speakers of the tC? i will be changing the stock with an aftermarket comps... tnx

You might wanna check your local Circuit City or Best Buy back at their car installation centers...They definetly have mounting brackets for all the installations they do but the cost will probably be $15 a pair.

no....it will probably be ABS plastic......just make 2 rings out of MDF....it's simple.......a drill and a jigsaw....

well il see about that... i dunno if our home depot here sells mdf board.. and another thing is that i dont have the tools to do it... i dont even have a drill to use in order to take of the stock speakers.. is there any way i can take them off other than drilling the rivets? i heard someone used some chisel and force... hehehe

i'm sure it would work......but it will be a pain.....maybe since you don't have proper tools, you could find a good audio shop to do the install......

Cut the stock speakers out of the mount and then mount your new speakers. This way you don't have to take out the rivets... you will trash your stock speakers however.

nah thanks for the tip crunch...id rather take it out as a whole for future use... maybe if i decied to restore it to stock when im selling the car... so when i drill out the rivets, will the speaker and the mounting assembly come off as one?
