Factory Bazooka sub swap

Factory Bazooka sub swap
I was noticing how the factory installed sub tends to distort at higher volumes and doesn't produce as much bass as my inifity perfect 10.1 does in my other ride. however, i need my trunk space and don't want to have a box back there. sooo... has anyone on here kept the bazooka enclosure but changed the sub? i was thinking about swapping out the bazooka sub with the infinity sub i have just to see if it will make a difference. what's the output of the bazooka amp, like 100 watts? i think it'll be enough to power the infinity sub. i think the problem with the bazooka is the cheap looking sub it comes with. looks like paper compared to the infinity. i don't even know if it will fit in the enclosure, but i'd like to try it when i have some time. unless anyone here knows for a fact it wont work.
