Default FLIP DOWN LCD SCREEN

I am thinking about putting a flip down screen about a 10inch or bigger. I was wondering if anybody had any suggestions and places on where to purchase?

I have been eyeing the audiovox one that is 12.2 I think... I don't care for audiovox, but this one is removable (pops out of the overhead dropdown holder) and can be brought in and used in the house. It has a built-in DVD. You can also buy another dropdown housing and put it in another car and just switch it out whenever.

It runs like 450 for the screen, 200 for the dropdown casing, and they have a 'shuttle' with speakers built into the sides for portable use (house, hotel, etc.) It has a stand on the back like a picture frame for tabletop operation and the 'shuttle' is not needed for portable use.

It is kind of thick though compared to other LCD screens, but worth looking into.

Do I sound like I work for audiovox or what? LOL.

Audiovox makes some really nice looking screens. JVC also has some nice looking screeens but their selection compared to Audiovox is limited.

there's ALOT of flipdowns here at www.savinglots.com in the mobile video section. I might go with a 14 inch Pyle very soon.

I have a question. The cheaper flip downs i'm seeing are 4:3

I'd love to have a 10-13 inch 16:9 but they all seem a bit pricey on my buget.

So my question is, how does the 4:3 ratio screens react to a 16:9 video? Do they add the bars at the top and bottom or does the image fill the entire screen leaving some of the video out?

I have a 10.4" dei directed fold down that is 16:9 and it is clear as hell... I want to sell it if any one is interested 300.00..

16:9 is the only way to go! If you are going to spend it , spend it right
