fuse blew and melted wires!!!
hey guys had a quick wiring question....
friend of my girls put a 30a fuse in the tail light fuse box which only allows a 10a fuse. well needles to say it melted wires from the back of the instrumental panel all the way up to the steering wheel column. looked up the diagrams and fixed everything except 2 green/white wires and a green wire coming out of a M4 relay. Not sure if this is considered the tail light relay which is handled by the c12 combination switch or not. please if you know i could re wire and have this problem fixed. also the relay could have blown but from what im told those relays don't really blow much. any help is help!

Hate to ask, but what caused the original fuse to blow? Since the 30A fuse allowed the excessive current through the circuit, just fixing the burnt out wires may not solve the underlying problem. Fuses normally die from just use (the element gets corroded, resistance goes up, current passes through heats said element until it fails, even at normal current loads) and from over-current incidents (direct shorts most commonly).
