Um I dont' have any pics of his carolla but here is mine. I did his blue and mine is green to go with the camo color. I took this with my digital cam corder so its not as good if it were done with a digi cam. The whole process took only 10 mins and it was real easy to get the needles out. just follow the instructions from the tech part. Really good step by step instruction with good pics.

I also did mine in blue, I used a sharpie and it was easy. However, I wanted to try to match the blue on the headunit so I bought a dark blue and sky blue sharpie. I did a layer of dark, then light, then dark, then light...you get the idea I did it until it got pretty close I will try to post a pic tommarow so you can see the shade of it. Looks good though.

YOU prolly be ablt to do that if you just color your leds different colors. I dont know I was thinking of doing that in a few weeks just to change it up since it is so simple.

Yah me too Sgt. I bought this mega pack of sharpies and have done about 4 colors already. Since it is so fast I switch it up about once a week.

What about everything else on the instrument panel? Like the air conditioning and everything else that lights up? The orangey color conflicts with all my blue lighting, and I would love to change those all to blue as well. Is it relatively the same process? Is it just LEDs that need coloring?

Just did mine blue it took about 30 mins and is very easy. The trick with the needles is put a piece of tape on them one at a time as you pop them off and they wont go any where.

A 6" blue cold cathode will fix that. Here's the old thread with DIY pics.
