Glare & Beam Pattern with HIDs
Obviously the light output is going to be better than stock when upgrading with HIDs but how is the cuttoff/beam pattern with these reflector housings? I can only imagine it to be horrible.
Does anyone have accurate pics of how it lights on the ground?

I just got a set of H4 HID hi-low beams. The cut off isn't that bad. I drive to work at night third shift. I pass plenty of police cars , watching the local bars and have never been pulled. I have the drivers headlight dropping about 3 1/2" at 30 feet.

i need to have hi and low beams.
how does your kit make the hi-beam? (does it tilt the bulb up/down?? does it actuate it in/out???)
First the EVO hinges are from my Sponsor JT Autostyle aka JT Bonn. The hinges are pretty easy to install. Most oof them say bolt on no mods. All I had to mod was to cut out the edge of the fender. The hinges took abot 3 hours to install with two people. I will tell you they are pretty much for show, as you can't get fat chicks up front any more. Unless you don't looking like driving Ms Daisy.

The HIDS I got from a friends shop up in Chantilly, Maryland. They use a solinoid to control a flap that hides the high beam. The HIDs I have are 8000K so they have a light blueish tint to them. They are easy to put in , it only took about 20 minutes to install them. Mine have relays for each ballast which is wired directly to the battery so you don't have to worry about melting wires. I also fused them at the battery as a precaution.
