Default Good midbass? mounting issues?

i've got all the low end i need.. (IDMAX 12" ..) and my mids and highs are fine, but i could really deal with a better punch in the 100-2500 hz range.. So i'm wondering: Good brands? i'm using focal polyglass separates in the doors now and they sound great but don't handle as much power as other's i've heard, so i'm open to new brands. Try and keep it cheap.

mounting issues? custom kick panels? fiberglass? mdf? new holes in the doors?

amping? rca connections? do i daisy chain through my other door amp? X over?

any answers are appreciated.

The xB has 5.5" speakers I think? These aren't enought to give you a good 100Hz coverage. Are you still using your stock head unit, and if not, have you tried EQing?
