So I'm tempted since I sort of have a red/black/flame theme going... is this worth it?

If that suits your taste, then go for it. Personally I think they look stupid...

 

I'm not talking stylistically here... the flames definitely could be better... still no one has said anything about the guage type and quality....

 

If you think it suits your style and your direction for your xB, then do it, but if you want nice looking gauges and a stylish dash then go with something with a little less rice.

 

All it is is a cover that goes over the gauge face, $85.00 is a lot of money for a cover, ask chadfo here on SL to do one for you a lot cheaper.

I just installed these (white/blue flames) and the installation was a snap. The quality is very good and Nu Image makes some nice stuff.

I replaced my bBist gauge face with this one and like it much better (especially at night).

As far as the $$ issue, hey...do what you like, its your box!

 

Check out the store... they have silver ones, that replace the AC and idiot light plastics too! Uh-oh...

Might be a better idea to do this than the trial and error of soldering LEDs and such behind the A/C controls but I would prefer getting a custom speedo gauge face from chad.

Just an update, I emailed for info on this product at stylin concepts and he said you would see a color change for the speedo gauge but he wasn't sure about the A/C controls. I emailed him back and asked if he could conferm whether or not if you bought the blue would your lights change to blue or stay amber. Awaiting response. Just wanted to warn you guys so you don't go off and buy them for $100 and get ____ed off if they arrive and they don't change the lighting color.

edit: There you have it, if you get this gauge set it will simply be cosmetic, I would recommend getting a custom one made by chad, much cheaper than the bBist one plus you get to design it yourself so it's exactly what you want:
