SilverStar FAQ
Osram Silverstars are only available in European sizes (H1, H4, etc.). The tC uses the US standard 9006 / 9005 bulbs.
For best lighting performance, use a clear bulb. The Sylvania Xtravision will yield a 20% output in light output over a standard bulb. The GE Nighthawk range of bulbs offer a slight light increase over the Xtravision but again are more expensive.
Also be advised that bulbs that tout an increase in output will have a trade off in bulb longevity.

Cut the tab off of 9005 and stick it in your low beams! It's supposed to not last that long bc it's a high beam bulb but it's lasted for years on my intergra..plus my teg has projectors for the glare factor...
It varies by MFG and usage, but here are comparative specs for the various Sylvania 9006 bulbs, including the SilverStars...
