Default Hard wiring inverter and flip-down screen...

I have a Monster Cable inverter that I'm hard-wiring today. It's wired straight to the battery (fused of course), grounded (not sure where yet, maybe seat bolt? but open to suggestions), and has a remote-line that connects to my ACC wire to turn it on.

Now, I have a flip-down LCD that needs the same lines, POWER, GROUND and REMOTE.... is there any problem with wiring it to the terminals on my inverter?

is the inverter a 12v dc to 110v ac? monitors are usually 12v dc. if it is 12v dc, run a fused connection from the fuse box to the monitor.

Yeah, it's a 12v->110v... my monitor is 12v, so I was hoping to wire it to the 12v power lead terminal on the inverter. Basically, just attach the 12v power wire from the battery, and the power wire from my screen to the terminal on my inverter. The reason I wanted to do this is because all the cables are going to the same spot anyway, it saves me the trouble of re-wiring the screen power wire all the way over to the fusebox.

I'm not sure if I made it sound like I wanted to plug the screen into the 110v end of the inverter, but I was basically hoping to power both my inverter and screen from the 12v battery lead. That's probably a better way of wording it.
