Is anyone using/had any use with the Harmon Kardon drive and play for iPod...Its looks like a really sweet unit, it has a anywhere mount screen and a controller that nearly mimmics the iPod controls...it has an FM transmitter, but it also has a dedicated line out for even better quality...I am seriously thinkin about this, but I'd like to hear some opionions first...anyone???

I have installed alot of them at work, pretty nice, easy to use and see. Worst thing is trying to figure out placment of the screen and controller. I would say go for it ,if you want to stick with the stock radio.

I already replaced the stock HU long ago with a pioneer 6700...but I'm not at all impressed w/ the pioneer iPod controls...the ones I've saw seem to be very sluggish...so far this seems to be the best I've found to go with my Pioneer radio...How are the controls, as far as speed???

The controls seem to be pretty quick. But when I install them I dont use them for very long, mostly just check to make sure the Ipod plays and that it sounds good.

The Harman piece is cool as long as you use a wire fm mod. Wireless blows. If you don't care for the Pioneer Ipod piece, check out a company called JL Troy. They make an Ipod adapter to charge and get the sound to the radio, but you still control the Ipod. I'm happy with mine.

So I know the thread is old, but has anyone else used this? Do you have pics of the mounting locations?
