I was wondering if this is for real, or a scam.

Default SCAM ALERT

*Please note: You will NOT receive the item pictured from me. Do not bid unless you understand you are bidding on a link to a site where you can get this item for only $125 with free shipping & handling. This is completely guaranteed! It will be emailed to you soon after payment is received. This info opened a new window of opportunity for me, one where you can get this and many more great products for hundreds below retail. This is not a scam, this is completely legal. Don't wait, bid now!

If it was real, we would see these radios all over the place offered at such a cheap price ....... This makes me mad !

IT IS A SCAM !

A Couple are businesses with catalogs that you can go out and find they supposedly
sell "wholesale" but they sell to everyone. Others usually require you to write letters
and many of those businesses expect you to be a business and request you send
your tax id number(used for buying and reselling) on company letterhead. Not so
much a scam as not very helpfully. And yea, a lot of the stuff you find is crap, stuff
you wouldn't want to buy anyway.

But, hey, if you can get it for $.99 go ahead, probably not going to hurt anything.
Or maybe we all chip in on it, the more people we get: could get in down to like
.10 or .15 cents apiece. j/k

Actually I think this is more of a pyramid scheme where poeple put in $125 and then people line up in order of purchase. When they finally get a set number of people to pay the $125, the first person get's the HU. And then the next person has to wait until the cycle is completed again. I was interested in the AVIC that had a similar thing going on. But I just couldn't wait for it. I've heard it is legit but you just gotta be patient.

They're always scams. Also, have you thought of emailing the past winners? I'm sure at least one of them would share the love.
